Photoshop: Replacing Skies

Apologies for the sound quality. This is one of my earlier videos and I hadn’t mastered the technique of getting the sound levels correct. This screencast shows how to replace skies with a seamless blend using Photoshop CS. The technique works equally well with Photoshop Elements. However, for versions prior to ver 9 in elements, you have to use a workaround to add full layer masks to the ‘pasted-in’ image. In version 9 of Elements, it’s just the same as in Photoshop CS.
The screencast is about 11 mins long as I have tried to explain the steps in reasonable detail. In reality, if you weren’t in demo mode, it should take about 2 to 4 minutes to do this type of operation.
